While at Interscope Records, as a marketing coordinator, for artists
such as Eminem & his Shady Records artist roster (D12, Obie Trice, Stat Quo), 50 Cent & his G-Unit
Records artist roster (Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo), Audioslave, and many others, I was in charge
of handling all aspects of creating various marketing tools for in-house use, as well as, tour support.
With the overlapping of projects I had to always juggle. There was always a high demand of product needed
and in a very short amount of time to turn it around. Luckily, I found Darryl Shinder and his company,
Pipeline Promotions.
Darryl and I worked in tandem for about 3 years. He was my 'go to guy' for anything
and everything I needed, whether it be Eminem throw towels for the Anger Management Tour, or 50 Cent
promo t-shirts for an upcoming 50 Cent 'Massacre' album release. Pipeline was a great fit for me and
my company's demands because I could make a call to Darryl on a Monday, needing over several thousand
pieces of merchandise in 2 weeks, and I knew it would be handled. Even if I needed the merchandise in
various places in various amounts Darryl and his team at Pipeline made it happen in an efficient manner.
Dealing with high profile artists and projects meant having to find a way to get what the artists
and Interscope wanted done no matter how difficult the task may have sounded. Pipeline made the impossible
possible. I utilized their resources for whatever project I had going on and felt so sure of their quality
work that I often passed on their information and contact to other co-workers and outside colleagues
when asked 'who should I go to?' I was very fortunate to have found Darryl and his company when I did.
They made my job at Interscope on the marketing/tools front extremely easy!
